Emerson poll in Wisconsin: Democrats are in the lead
Results of a new poll conducted by Emerson were published on April 27. The poll asked participants from Wisconsin for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 47.0% of participants would vote for the Democrats, while 37.0% would vote for Party. The poll was conducted from March 30 to April 3 with 1198 likely voters. Figures have a +/-2.8 percentage points error margin.
According to other surveys
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 56.0% for the Democrats and 44.1% for the Republicans. The vote share for the Democrats is 0.5 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Wisconsin.

The poll results for the Democrats are thus 1.7 percentage points higher than the combined PollyVote, which currently foresees a two-party vote share of 54.3% in Wisconsin.
