Results of a new poll carried out by WXYZ-TV/Detroit Free Press were released on April 25. Participants from Michigan were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who responded, 46.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, while 38.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the republican Donald Trump. The poll was carried out from October 25 to October 31 among 600 likely voters. The margin of error is +/-4.0 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.8% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 45.2% for Donald Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Michigan The democrats did better in this poll.
