Republicans lead in Georgia by 9 points in latest WXIA-TV/SurveyUSA poll
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of WXIA-TV/SurveyUSA in Georgia, were published on April 11. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 37.0% of participants plan to vote for the Democratic Party, while 46.0% plan to vote for the Republicans. The poll was conducted from October 15 to October 26 with 481 likely voters. Estimated have a +/-4.0 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 44.6% for Hillary Clinton and 55.4% for Donald Trump.
