WWL-TV/Clarus poll in Louisiana: Democrats are trailing
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of WWL-TV/Clarus in Louisiana, were published on April 9. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 39.0% said that they intend to vote for Hillary Clinton, while 47.0% indicated that they would give their vote to Donald Trump. The poll was carried out from September 20 to September 23 with 800 registered voters.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 45.4% for Hillary Clinton and 54.7% for the republican Donald Trump.
