Wisconsin: Very clear lead for Democrats in latest WPR/St. Norbert poll
Results of a new poll conducted by WPR/St. Norbert were released on April 26. Participants from Wisconsin were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who responded, 46.0% said that they are going to vote for the Democrats, whereas 34.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from April 12 to April 15 with 616 registered voters. The error margin is +/-4.0 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 57.5% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 42.5% for Donald Trump. The vote share for the democrats is 1.0 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Wisconsin.
