Wisconsin: Democrats with clear advantage in recent Emerson poll
Results of a new poll conducted by Emerson were released on April 25. Participants from Wisconsin were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results reveal that 47.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democrats, whereas 37.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. This poll was conducted from March 30 to April 3, among a random sample of 1198 likely voters. Figures have a +/-2.8 percentage points error margin.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 56.0% for Clinton and 44.1% for Trump. The democrats did better by 0.5 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Wisconsin.
