Wisconsin: Democrats with clear advantage in recent Emerson poll
Emerson published the results of a new poll, in which participants from Wisconsin were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 47.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democratic Party, while 37.0% would vote for the GOP. This poll was conducted from March 30 to April 3, among a random sample of 1198 likely voters. The error margin is +/-2.8 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 56.0% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 44.1% for the republican Donald Trump. The value for the democrats is identical to the average results of the other polls in Wisconsin.
