Wisconsin: Clear advantage for Democrats in Emerson poll
Results of a new poll conducted by Emerson were published on April 17. Participants from Wisconsin were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 47.0% of participants plan to vote for the Democrats, while 37.0% plan to vote for the GOP. This poll was conducted from March 30 to April 3, among a random sample of 1198 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-2.8 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 56.0% for the democrat Clinton and 44.1% for Trump. The value for the democrats is identical to the average results of the other polls in Wisconsin.
