Virginia: Roanoke College poll: Democrats at 52%
Roanoke College published the results of a new poll, in which participants from Virginia were asked who they would vote for. The results reveal that 52.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democrats, while 35.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was conducted from January 18 to January 26 among 524 likely voters. Figures have a +/-4.3 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 59.8% for the Democrats and 40.2% for the Republicans. The democrats did worse by 1.9 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Virginia.
