Texas: Small lead for Republicans in recent Texas Lyceum poll
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of Texas Lyceum in Texas, were released on April 15. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results show that 37.0% of interviewees will vote for Democratic party, whereas 39.0% said they would vote for GOP. This poll was conducted from September 8 to September 21, among a random sample of 633 likely voters.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 48.7% for the Democrats and 51.3% for the Republicans.
