North Carolina: New SurveyUSA poll shows Republicans leading
SurveyUSA released the results of a new poll, in which participants from North Carolina were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 43.0% of respondents intend to vote for the Democratic Party, while 45.0% intend to vote for the Republicans. The poll was in the field between February 14 and February 16. The sample size was 1250 likely voters. Results have a +/-2.8 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 48.9% for the Democrats and 51.1% for the Republicans. The republicans did worse by 2.3 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in North Carolina.
