SurveyUSA poll in Michigan: Republicans are behind
The results of a new poll, conducted by SurveyUSA in Michigan, were published on April 15. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 49.0% revealed that they are going to vote for Clinton, while 38.0% said that they would give their vote to the republican Trump. The poll was carried out between March 23 and March 24. The sample size was 904 likely voters. The margin of error is +/-3.3 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 56.3% for Hillary Clinton and 43.7% for the republican Donald Trump.
