GWU published the results of a new national poll. The results show that 46.0% of interviewees will vote for the Democrats, whereas 43.0% said they would vote for GOP. This poll was conducted from April 17 to April 20, among a random sample of 1000 participants. The error margin is +/-3.1 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.7% for Hillary Clinton and 48.3% for Donald Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls The democrats did better in this poll. The poll results for the Democrats are thus 1.8 percentage points below the combined PollyVote, which as of now foresees a value of 53.5%.
