Republicans lead in Ohio by 2 points in new Quinnipiac poll
Quinnipiac published the results of a new poll, in which participants from Ohio were asked who they would vote for. Of those who answered the question, 42.0% said that they will vote for the Democrats, whereas 44.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from February 16 to February 20 among 1539 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.5 percentage points margin of error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 48.8% for the Democrats and 51.2% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Ohio The democrats did better in this poll.
