SurveyUSA published the results of a new poll, in which participants from North Carolina were asked who they would vote for. The results reveal that 43.0% of participants will vote for the Democrats, whereas 45.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was conducted from February 14 to February 16 among 1250 likely voters. Results have a +/-2.8 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 48.9% for the Democrats and 51.1% for the Republicans. The vote share for the republicans is 2.3 percentage points under the average results of other polls in North Carolina.
