Republicans lead in Minnesota by 3 points in latest KSTP/SurveyUSA poll
Results of a new poll carried out by KSTP/SurveyUSA were published on April 17. Participants from Minnesota were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who responded, 42.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrats, while 45.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from October 29 to November 2 with 516 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-4.4 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.3% for the Democrats and 51.7% for the Republicans. The vote share for the democrats is 3.1 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Minnesota.
