News 13/SurveyUSA poll in Florida: Republicans hold razor-thin lead
Results of a new poll carried out by News 13/SurveyUSA were published on April 17. Participants from Florida were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who responded, 44.0% revealed that they will vote for the democrat Clinton, whereas 45.0% indicated that they would give their vote to Trump. The poll was conducted between March 4 and March 6. The sample size was 1961 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-2.3 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 49.4% for the Democrats and 50.6% for the Republicans. The vote share for the democrats is 1.8 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Florida.
