Quinnipiac poll in Pennsylvania: Democrats are leading
Quinnipiac published the results of a new poll, in which participants from Pennsylvania were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 45.0% of participants would vote for the Democratic Party, while 42.0% would vote for the Republican Party. The poll was conducted between March 30 and April 4. The sample size was 1737 likely voters. Figures have a +/-2.4 percentage points margin of error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 51.7% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 48.3% for the republican Donald Trump. The vote share for the democrats is 1.8 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Pennsylvania.
