Quinnipiac poll in Florida: Democrats with comfortable advantage
The results of a new poll, conducted by Quinnipiac in Florida, were released on March 24. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results reveal that 46.0% of participants will vote for Hillary Clinton, whereas 41.0% said they would vote for the republican Donald Trump. The poll was in the field between September 25 and October 5. The sample size was 1173 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.9 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 52.9% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 47.1% for Donald Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Florida The republicans did better in this poll.
