The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of Quinnipiac in Connecticut, were released on April 4. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 47.0% revealed that they plan to vote for Clinton, while 40.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the republican Trump. The poll was carried out from October 7 to October 11 with 1735 registered voters.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.0% for Clinton and 46.0% for the republican Trump.
