South Carolina: Comfortable lead for Republicans in new PPP (D) poll
Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D) were released on April 4. Participants from South Carolina were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 42.0% of respondents intend to vote for the Democratic Party, while 47.0% intend to vote for the Republican Party. The poll was carried out from November 7 to November 8 with 1290 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.7 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 47.2% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 52.8% for the republican Donald Trump.
