Latest PPP (D) poll in North Carolina: Republicans trail by a small margin
PPP (D) published the results of a new poll, in which participants from North Carolina were asked who they would vote for. Of those who answered the question, 44.0% said that they plan to vote for the Democrats, while 42.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from March 18 to March 20, among a random sample of 843 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.4 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.2% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 48.8% for the republican Donald Trump. The republicans did better by 0.0 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in North Carolina.
