The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of PPP (D) in Minnesota, were released on March 31. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 44.0% said that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 39.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from July 30 to August 2 with 1015 registered voters. The error margin is +/-3.1 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the democrat Clinton and 47.0% for Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Minnesota The democrats did worse in this poll.
