Latest PPP (D) poll in Illinois: Democrats with very clear advantage
PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which participants from Illinois were asked who they would vote for. The results reveal that 51.0% of participants plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 33.0% said they would vote for Republican party. This poll was conducted from July 20 to July 21, among a random sample of 931 registered voters.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.7% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 39.3% for the republican Donald Trump. The vote share for the democrats is 6.1 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Illinois.
