New PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Virginia: Republicans trail by a clear margin
On March 31, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Virginia were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who responded, 49.0% revealed that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 39.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from July 13 to July 15 with 1170 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.9 percentage points. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 55.7% for the Democrat Clinton and 44.3% for the Republican Trump.
