On April 22, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Ohio were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
According to the results, 45.0% of respondents would vote for the Democrats, while 40.0% would vote for Party. This poll was conducted from March 3 to March 4, among a random sample of 1248 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.8 percentage points. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 52.9% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 47.1% for the Republican Donald Trump.
