PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Ohio: Democrats with comfortable lead
On April 9, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Ohio were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results reveal that 45.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democratic party, whereas 40.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was conducted from March 3 to March 4 with 1248 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.8 percentage points sampling error.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 52.9% for Clinton and 47.1% for Trump. The Democrats did worse by 0.7 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Ohio.
