New York: New PPP (D)PPP (D) poll shows Democrats leading
On April 17, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from New York were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who responded, 55.0% said that they will vote for the Democrats, whereas 35.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out between April 7 and April 10. The sample size was 1403 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.6 percentage points error margin.
In comparison with other surveys
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 61.1% for the Democrats and 38.9% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in New York the Democrats did better in this poll.
