Missouri: Lead for Republicans in new PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
On April 26, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Missouri were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results show that 39.0% of participants would vote for the Democratic party, while 48.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out from August 7 to August 9 with 859 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-3.3 percentage points error margin.
According to other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 44.8% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 55.2% for the Republican Donald Trump. The Republicans did worse by 1.0 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Missouri.
