PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Minnesota: Republicans are trailing
PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 2. In this poll, respondents from Minnesota were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
Of those who responded, 44.0% revealed that they will vote for the Democrats, whereas 39.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from July 30 to August 2 with 1015 registered voters. Figures have a +/-3.1 percentage points margin of error.
In comparison with other surveys
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the Democrats and 47.0% for the Republicans. The vote share for the Democrats is 1.6 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Minnesota.
