PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Iowa: Democrats are in the lead
On April 9, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Iowa were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
According to the results, 45.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democrats, while 43.0% would vote for the Republican Party. The poll was conducted from December 10 to December 13 among 1426 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.6 points. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.1% for the Democrats and 48.9% for the Republicans.
