Illinois: New PPP (D)PPP (D) poll: Democrats at 51%
Results of a new poll carried out by PPP (D)PPP (D) were released on April 11. The poll asked respondents from Illinois for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 51.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democrat Clinton, while 33.0% are going to vote for Trump. The poll was in the field between July 20 and July 21. The sample size was 931 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.7% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 39.3% for the Republican Donald Trump.
