Illinois: Very clear lead for Democrats in latest PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D)PPP (D) were circulated on April 23. The poll asked participants from Illinois for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
The results reveal that 51.0% of participants plan to vote for the Democratic party, whereas 33.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out between July 20 and July 21. The sample size was 931 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.7% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 39.3% for the Republican Donald Trump.
