NBC-WSJ-Marist poll in Pennsylvania: Democrats are in the lead
NBC-WSJ-Marist released the results of a new poll, in which participants from Pennsylvania were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 54.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democrats, while 39.0% plan to vote for the Republicans. The poll was carried out between April 18 and April 20. The sample size was 2606 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-1.9 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 58.1% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 41.9% for the republican Donald Trump. The democrats did worse by 3.7 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Pennsylvania.
