Pennsylvania: Hillary Clinton tied with Donald Trump in latest poll results
The results of a new poll, sponsored FOX News in Pennsylvania, were published on April 16. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 44.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the Democrats, whereas 44.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out between April 4 and April 7. The sample size was 1607 likely voters. The margin of error is +/-2.5 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 50.0% for the Democrats and 50.0% for the Republicans. The democrats did better by 3.5 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Pennsylvania.
