The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of FOX News in Pennsylvania, were published on April 15. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results show that 44.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democrats, while 44.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out between April 4 and April 7. The sample size was 1607 likely voters. The margin of error is +/-2.5 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 50.0% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 50.0% for the republican Donald Trump. The democrats did better by 3.5 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Pennsylvania.
