Ohio: New Quinnipiac poll: Republicans at 44%
Quinnipiac published the results of a new poll, in which participants from Ohio were asked who they would vote for. Of those who answered the question, 42.0% revealed that they plan to vote for the democrat Clinton, whereas 44.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the republican Trump. The poll was conducted from February 16 to February 20 among 1539 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-2.5 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.8% for the democrat Clinton and 51.2% for the republican Trump. The democrats did better by 3.4 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Ohio.
