Ohio: New NBC-WSJ-Marist poll shows Republicans trailing
The results of a new poll, conducted by NBC-WSJ-Marist in Ohio, were released on April 7. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 48.0% said that they are going to vote for Clinton, whereas 42.0% declared that they would give their vote to Trump. The poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10 among 2052 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-2.2 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.3% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 46.7% for the republican Donald Trump.
