The results of a new poll, conducted by PPP (D) in Ohio, were published on March 30. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results show that 45.0% of interviewees will vote for Democratic party, whereas 40.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was conducted from March 3 to March 4 with 1248 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-2.8 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 52.9% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 47.1% for the republican Donald Trump. The vote share for the democrats is 0.7 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Ohio.
