Ohio: Democrats with clear advantage in recent CNN-ORC poll
Results of a new poll carried out by CNN-ORC were published on April 12. Participants from Ohio were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who responded, 50.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrats, whereas 43.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from March 2 to March 6, among a random sample of 884 registered voters. Figures have a +/-3.5 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 53.8% for the democrat Clinton and 46.2% for Trump.
