Ohio: Lead for Democrats in new NBC-WSJ-Marist poll
NBC-WSJ-Marist published the results of a new poll, in which participants from Ohio were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 48.0% of respondents plan to vote for the Democrats, while 42.0% plan to vote for the GOP. This poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10, among a random sample of 2052 registered voters. Results have a +/-2.2 percentage points margin of error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.3% for the democrat Clinton and 46.7% for the republican Trump. The vote share for the democrats is 1.1 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Ohio.
