Ohio: Democrats hold clear lead in recent NBC-WSJ-Marist poll
The results of a new poll, sponsored NBC-WSJ-Marist in Ohio, were published on April 12. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results show that 48.0% of respondents would vote for the Democrats, while 42.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was carried out from March 4 to March 10 with 2052 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.2 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.3% for the democrat Clinton and 46.7% for Trump.
