Ohio: Clear lead for Democrats in CNN-ORC poll
CNN-ORC published the results of a new poll, in which participants from Ohio were asked who they would vote for. Of those who answered the question, 50.0% revealed that they plan to vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, whereas 43.0% indicated that they would give their vote to Donald Trump. The poll was carried out from March 2 to March 6 among 884 registered voters. The error margin is +/-3.5 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.8% for the Democrats and 46.2% for the Republicans. The vote share for the democrats is 1.5 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Ohio.
