Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D) were published on April 16. Participants from North Carolina were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who responded, 44.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the Democrats, while 42.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from March 18 to March 20, among a random sample of 843 registered voters. Results have a +/-3.4 percentage points margin of error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.2% for the democrat Clinton and 48.8% for Trump.
