SurveyUSA published the results of a new poll, in which participants from North Carolina were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 43.0% of participants plan to vote for the Democrats, while 45.0% plan to vote for the Republican Party. This poll was conducted from February 14 to February 16, among a random sample of 1250 likely voters. Results have a +/-2.8 percentage points margin of error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 48.9% for the democrat Clinton and 51.1% for the republican Trump. The vote share for the republicans is 2.3 percentage points under the average results of other polls in North Carolina.
