North Carolina: Democrats hold clear lead in Elon University poll
Elon University released the results of a new poll, in which participants from North Carolina were asked who they would vote for. The results reveal that 47.0% of respondents intend to vote for Democratic party, while 41.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was conducted between February 15 and February 17. The sample size was 1530 likely voters. The margin of error is +/-2.5 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.4% for the democrat Clinton and 46.6% for the republican Trump.
