News 13/SurveyUSA poll in Florida: Democrats are trailing
The results of a new poll, conducted by News 13/SurveyUSA in Florida, were published on March 24. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results reveal that 44.0% of participants would vote for the Democrats, whereas 45.0% said they would vote for Republican party. This poll was conducted from March 4 to March 6, among a random sample of 1961 likely voters. Results have a +/-2.3 percentage points margin of error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 49.4% for Clinton and 50.6% for Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Florida The republicans did worse in this poll.
