The results of a new poll, sponsored News 13/SurveyUSA in Florida, were published on April 9. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 44.0% of respondents would vote for the Democratic Party, while 45.0% would vote for the Republican Party. This poll was conducted from March 4 to March 6, among a random sample of 1961 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-2.3 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 49.4% for the Democrats and 50.6% for the Republicans.
