PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which participants from New York were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 55.0% of respondents intend to vote for the Democratic Party, while 35.0% intend to vote for the Republican Party. The poll was carried out from April 7 to April 10 among 1403 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-2.6 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 61.1% for the Democrats and 38.9% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in New York The democrats did better in this poll.
