Emerson released the results of a new poll, in which participants from New York were asked who they would vote for. Of those who responded, 54.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the Democrats, whereas 36.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from April 6 to April 7 with 864 likely voters. Estimated have a +/-3.3 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 60.0% for the Democrats and 40.0% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in New York The democrats did better in this poll.
